I like this iron. I decided to go wireless after some initial research, including watching YouTube videos. The key to success here is understanding how cordless irons work. There's no battery just to keep it running (like in a cordless vacuum). Between changes of laundry during ironing (e.g. when you move or turn a shirt or pair of trousers, you must place it on the charging station, otherwise it will lose the necessary heat. I really like the design of the pointed ends on both sides. iron to prevent the fabric from clumping when you withdraw the iron. And the lack of a cord in the way is great. Another advantage is the temperature control. You can switch from high to medium or low heat by simply pressing the switch and the iron will let you know when it's reached your desired temperature. This is useful when I'm ironing multiple types of materials (e.g. shirts) some of which require high temperatures and others lower temperatures. I used to never be able to tell if the iron was cold enough to iron something delicate after using it on something with high heat. One downside (but not a major one) is that the water tank seems smaller than the ones I had. other irons (and possibly than some other cordless irons). Almost a year later I upgraded it to 5 stars. I don't think I'll go back to cordless irons after using them. Another note on the water tank, although it could be bigger, the fact that it can be removed from the iron is brilliant. It's easy to quickly complete a backup. Don't worry about accidentally splashing water on electrical parts.
