Ram Mounts Fit Almost Anything. Over the years I have used Ram mounts to mount GPS units, fish finders, solar panels, GoPro cameras, phone cases, cup holders, etc. They are very well made and I've never had a single failure. Some items may require larger balls and pans depending on the weight of the item. However, ram mounts are my preferred mounting solution for almost anything. Also, being an engineer, when I give a five star rating, the five stars are for material, durability, versatility and quality. I'm attaching some photos of the boat I installed solar panels on with Ram Mounts. The ram mounts were chosen because the panels need to be removed when the boat is in a sprint configuration and is moving flat. Ram mounts make replacement easier as no tools are required. The GPS unit on the dash is also mounted with a ram mount. Later, ram mounts were also used to mount GoPro cameras on a boat.
