This router was an upgrade for me as my highest bandwidth ISP cannot provide 150/20 service. My old TP-Link router with multiple WANs was limited to 100MB. This router is a great router with excellent balancing capabilities. I configured a /22 subnet, which allows me to create "groups" of clients and route traffic over a Class C network area. Router setup was easy, and I added additional Pepwave AP One AC to my environment Added mini access points. I particularly like the ease of adding access points and expanding wireless coverage with minimal SSID setting. Although I've added additional access points, the Balance One's built-in WiFi is a nice and functional "addition" to the router. My only wish is that it is AC enabled in the router. It is limited to N capabilities but supports simultaneous dual band (2,4 and 5 simultaneously with different clients). Some of the wireless network setup functions (for built-in or access points) are somewhat hidden in the user interface. I believe this is done to protect the "average" user from themselves. I don't think the "average" user would buy this router. It has many features that the average user will likely appreciate, but the "average" user is unlikely to spend that amount on a router of this class. Class. If you're an advanced homeowner, you'll love this router. It offers the stability and reliability you may miss from "high-end" consumer-grade routers you may have used in the past (think $200-$300 "best-in-class" consumer-grade routers) . If you have a router, you've probably tried DD-WRT on that router's hardware. Ultimately, this router is more powerful than any consumer hardware. The router also has a USB modem for connecting to a mobile jetpack. I use this feature as a backup for two dedicated WAN ports. It works automatically and reconnects to your "wired" ISPs when they come back online. I put a star due to the cost of the router and the lack of WiFi AC in the router.
