I received this window protection and _FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY so you don't screw up the installation. YouTube also has a video of the procedure. I started at the bottom of a sliding glass door and needed three panels/pieces (the whole roll) to raise the window three quarters of its height. It's better to have privacy but lots of light comes through the door. I haven't looked at the outside of the doors yet. I plan to continue this review to see if it actually prevents heat loss (this is winter). I would say that I am satisfied with this purchase. Installation was easy after the first part, but I turned my phone off to avoid being distracted. I have already purchased another roll to make a second door and I will be getting a third roll when my budget allows. If I save additional costs, it's worth it. I'll let you know.
