Works as advertised but you need to know how to install it. First unscrew the stand until the rubber backing is as flat as possible, then wet the black rubber side and press against a flat surface (the surface MUST be flat). Now, while maintaining pressure on the front, begin turning the strut section clockwise until fully tightened. This reshapes the black suction and creates a vacuum between the tub hook and the flat surface. That's all. If you want to remove it, just unscrew the stand and it will fall off. When manufactured, there should be instructions that tell people how to install it properly.
