Intro-------After watching the youtube channel "How to drink" (it's great, check it out by the way!) I was up looking for a cheap option for 2 inch cubes. This is the best I've found. Advantages ------- Cheap. Supplied with 4 bowls and lids. Good for reducing fridge odors absorbing ice. Transferred Ice - Dishwasher safe. Mech. ------- It doesn't make perfect ice cream. Although it was useful for beginners. Cons --------The trays don't have a plastic frame for rigidity. This wasn't a problem for me as I had freezer space, but for others it may be a problem. a bit difficult. Final Thoughts-----These silicone trays are great for making large ice cream. I've had others in the past and they end up smelling, so I read that the solution to this problem is putting it in the oven for a while and it will kill any odor (it's made of the same material as high temperature silicone for use in the oven so it doesn't melt). I haven't had this problem with them yet, but I'll definitely try if it becomes a problem. All in all, highly recommended for aspiring mixologists!
