Works 4 my very small yorkie! I was about to return this item bc it looked to big for my yorkie whom I have a problem trying to get her to fit anything ×× small. I only adjusted the straps on it and it works great for her. I can pick her up better especially when she decides she wants to make a run dash, the grip works fine. I gave 4 stars bc of the extra footage I had leftover from her neck adjustments. By her being so small I had nowhere to put the leftover footage , so I ended up cutting it very short so that it wouldn't be dragging the ground. The better adjustment was ok bc the extra footage from that area could be stuck on the velcro strip without a problem unlike the neck area part bc it seem the only option you had left was to cut it short if your dog's neck is too small and sew the end of the strap so that it would not rattle bc I saw no other place to put it. Other than this it could have been a 5 star with flying colors.
