I was looking for a pair of insulated stainless steel wide mouth water bottles with simple screw tops because I wanted to take a cocktail to work later in the day. My experience with some water bottle caps with a built in straw that pops out. Sooner or later some of your drink will get into the cracks and crevices above and you won't get it out and it will build up. Bacteria can grow there. These bottles came with three different closures, one with a simple screw top, one with a small hinged hole and one with a straw. It was nice to have a choice of which top to use. I threw away the one with the straw but the other two that come with the bottle work great. I make my afternoon smoothie around 7am and throw in an ice cube and from 6am to 7pm the ice cube is still there, my smoothie is still cold.
