I wanted to get some help before writing this review. I bought this projector almost exclusively for outdoor use, backyard use, camping, etc. I've had it since July and am mostly happy with my purchase. The picture is very bright, I usually run it in display mode (brightest) and you can watch a 2 hour movie before the low battery notification pops up. The build quality is top notch, feels very solid and solid. The onboard audio is great for most movies and for a small group of people around the projector, but I sometimes hooked up an external speaker via the 3.5mm out. (Aiwa exos-9) and it really looks like an open-air cinema. When you connect a Bluetooth speaker, there is an incredible delay and the footage becomes unviewable. Image quality wise, a family member of mine has a cheap $3-$400 projector that we used to watch chapter 2 of it. In the evening the image on the thing looks like a crappy projector, even in total darkness I wasn't impressed. My roommate has installed a cheap projector (2-300β¬) in his room, even in complete darkness in his room the picture is bad, the colors are weak, the resolution is miserable, there is no contrast, there is almost no dynamic range. This projector doesn't have this problem, even in low ambient light, this projector looks like a TV. This is my first projector. I usually watch things on a 4k Dolby Vision TV and don't notice much degradation in picture quality. Of course, the TV looks better, brighter and sharper, but in terms of color, brightness, sharpness and dynamic range, this projector is excellent in my opinion. This projector broke my preconceived notions about the picture quality of a projector. Android TV is great, as I said, I use it for camping, I can download a bunch of movies onto a 128GB flash drive and watch them through VLC media player (downloaded from Play Store) with no problems. When I'm out somewhere with Wi-Fi I like to have a few apps, HBO Max, Disney Plus, Youtube etc. I know some people complain about the lack of official Netflix support but in my case it doesn't bother me , but I see how this could be a disadvantage for others. The remote control is great and the carrying handle is good. I love that it has a tripod mount, I have a quick release tripod on it and use it with a tripod every time. I really wish it came with a case but I found a Pelican case online and modified it to perfectly fit the projector, remote and charger. Overall I am very happy with the projector and it meets my needs perfectly.
