Decent performance for a 32GB drive but I wish it was faster. ATTO benchmarks show a solid read speed of 227 MB/s, but write speeds ranged from 25 to 28 MB/s. On Windows 10, when copying large files, the write speed is usually 16-20MB/s. Heats up but doesn't heat up unlike the latest generation METAL BAR disc. The gray disc has a matte appearance instead of being slippery like the previous generation chrome version (which I always threw away because of its slipperiness). Other drives (like the SanDisk Flair) that cost less offer about the same write speed, so I'd say write speed is the downside of this drive. BUT I use them as a windows installer, so price and read speed are the most important things for me. It's a few bucks more expensive than the Sandisk Flair, but after a year or so I found the Flair unreliable, so hopefully they'll be better.
