We bought these for our 5 year old as a birthday present. She uses roller skates to learn to skate and balance. She's outgrown skates and it's time to switch to roller skates too. Roller skates were adjustable, like these. They outlasted her and her older sister. The adjustable size is a great option in this design as the size of the feet changes very quickly. Ice skates don't seem heavy, you can put them on yourself. Colored lights are a big hit. Let her ride for hours! A great value purchase for hours of outdoor fun and play.
