I bought these markers mainly because I already had another set of markers (which I use for coloring "adult coloring books" - mean only more detailed images - sometimes pages, for recreation / only for fun) , but the color palette in the other set I had was less wide than the colors of the markers in this one. I like the double-ended design of these markers, but I typically use the larger side of most markers as the fine tip (designed for very fine detail and line work). The main downside I can think of with this set of markers is that over time (with fairly little use on my part) some markers have had their wide tip/regular tip "flattened" a bit and become less accurate. . In addition, all of the colors are very rich and vibrant, and none of them have dried out. This is a set that I would definitely recommend if you are looking for a new marker set for painting/painting medium to large areas of color in one picture that is also very cheap!
