Seems to work decently but is unable to sustain 1A output while keeping voltage within USB specs. Charging with a load of one amp resulted in a voltage drop of up to 4.4 volts, which is outside USB specifications. (One of my photos shows 4.4V output while my tester is set for 1A load). The datasheet for the actual chip in this circuit states that its maximum value is actually 800mA. Keeping the load at this level will keep it within the acceptable voltage range. Otherwise, look for a more powerful device. This is only suitable for lightly loaded USB devices. Charging also takes forever. If you are aware of these limitations, this device might work for you without any problems.
