This product is designed to be used between the top overload protection and overload pad to tension the overload spring when the truck bed is heavily loaded. However, it was so large that even if I cut it down to the minimum Torklift allowable, it would still preload my G when the truck bed was empty. I called Torklift and discussed this with Torklift and as they guaranteed satisfaction or a full refund I returned them and got my money back. I know it's a popular addon and works on most trucks, but everything it did for me was a waste of time. I really appreciated Torklift for their product!
