This is your super classy black pre-tied bow. Something like a man's "little black dress" verse? It has a simple plastic hook and eye closure at the back with a slider for easy adjustment of the fit. My only concern is the plastic clasps that snap together. I have a feeling they might crack in the future as they are plastic and they come loose from time to time.
