First, the keyboard and Insteon work very well once they are all installed and programmed. Insteon is far superior to the X-10 in terms of reliability and flexibility. All Insteon modules are well made and very easy to install, requiring only basic electrical knowledge. Caution: Insteon switches and panels are larger than regular wall switches and take up much more space in regular wall boxes, potentially making wiring a challenge. Don't just follow the document that comes with the panel that says nothing. Look for a download guide on the Insteon website (which actually sucks but is somewhat helpful). Look for step-by-step videos available online. Then fingers crossed to eventually find out whose is first and Watts is second. Thats so bad. The good news is that you will love the Insteon system once you get it up and running.
