Still looking for a comparable Mephisto Shark replacement (they ARE the best sandals in my opinion). These Dunham MCR455SB 10D sandals have been good comfortable sandals for 7 months. Unfortunately the insoles have already expired and I am looking for replacements for them. The soles are holding up well with little to no signs of wear, the leather upper is also still in good condition and the nylon lining of the strap is also in good condition. I had to pull the toe strap out as much as possible to get a decent fit. But what is worn is the insole with deep dents on the ball of the foot and the sides of the foot. They still have good arch support, which was VERY important to me. Groundwater, area of hard, semi-moist sand. The sandals are NEVER wet or in salt water but had dry sand in them when going into a wet hard sand area. of these.
