For the first month the lid worked fine. It was sunny or partly cloudy, a light breeze, that's all. True, the cover doesn't even fit my Ford F-150 Crew's cockpit. I mean it covers most of the time but clearly isn't wide enough for a truck. It doesn't cover the bottom of the doors on either side, and the reflective markers that cover the side mirrors are about 2 to 3 inches above both mirrors on either side. Now let's get to this morning. it rained for about 8 hours and the wind picked up. The lid did absolutely nothing to drain the water from the platform, instead filling with water ripping the cords attached to the tires right off the lid and exposing the entire back of the truck. Absolute and total bullshit! What good is a truck tent if it can't cover any elements other than sunlight?!?!?! Looks like I'm going to cut holes in the lid and run bungee cords and ratchet straps around and under the truck to hopefully use that scrap material to cover something! Too much money for a slum product!
