Poor call quality, uncomfortable and not very well made

Waiting for a chance to test this headset; I use an almost 5 year old Jabra 9400 Pro and had to change the battery in it once and am rethinking it. I thought the new headset would sound better, be more comfortable and I liked the removable battery feature. I was disappointed in all three areas. First, the quality of the connection. Thanks to A/B testing, all callers felt my Jabra sounded much better. They are a similar design as the overhead mics are about the same length and I use overhead loops. Calls sounded about the same to me after customizing the D904 to my liking. But subscribers invariably noted the quality of communication. When it comes to headphones, Jabra again wins by a wide margin. The ear hooks are made of a thicker plastic that distributes the weight better and is easier to pick up and place on the ear. I had to constantly fiddle with the D904 earhook, and after a few hours it became uncomfortable. There are three hook sizes, but they are all very thin and flimsy. The headband was a bit too tight for my liking, but maybe that's personal taste. Turning off the battery is a great idea, except the fit and finish of this headset aren't great. The battery never snaps into the earbud with a satisfying click, and I found my phone could fall out without careful positioning. Accordingly, the headset sits looser than expected on the base station. The manual is very sparse and available for download - you'd think a product in this price range would come with a small manual, or at least a 'quick setup'. sheet, as some elements need to be explained, e.g. B. the cable switch (for cable compatibility) and the Aux port (for the headset lifter). On the plus side, I liked the volume control on the headset - my Jabra has a Touch Strip which I never mastered. Again, I'm never far from my phone when on a call, and it's rarely necessary to adjust the volume once a call has started. The range is great too - I've tested it up to 250 feet with no issues. However, given the convenience, call quality, and processing issues, this product is hard to recommend. There are better headphones in this price range.
