This Revain Brand – Spotted Zebra Boys Toddler & Kids Knit Denim Jacket runs a little small. We are an XL size 11-12 and it barely fits my 10 year old son. He's taller for his age and thin, but this outfit is too short for him, even taking that into account (since it's licensed for under-12s), and there's little to no room for layering once it's buttoned up . high. I would definitely recommend appreciating this. Your "XL" is more like a size 8 or MIGHT be a 10 in kid sizes (for boys at least) - but 11-12? No, unless your child runs on the small/small side. The upper body of this model is shorter and reaches the length of the waist. We usually like it when jackets land a bit below this level, but so far it's working well. My son is in the middle of a growth spurt so hopefully I'll be able to use it in the next month or so as the length is almost too short already. So far he still looks good in it, so let's check it out. The denim itself is of good quality and decently thick. This is a nice mid to dark blue denim - not too dark and not lighter, but nice somewhere in the darker mid-range. There are no problems in it and it is fairly uniform in color throughout. This is a super adorable denim jacket that suits both girls and boys alike and is well made with no loose threads or imperfections. . It goes with almost anything and is also good for layering underneath - as long as you get the fit right and make sure to give it a looser fit. This is a great wardrobe staple for any child - just make sure you choose a comfortable size and note that it runs small! IMMV!
