I was so happy to find this. I had something similar, but couldn't find it. I think I borrowed it and it didn't come back. Anyway, I've used this heat cap in two different ways for deep conditioning. I have used it for a hot oil treatment when I apply almond oil (apricot, avocado or olive oil can be used) to my hair, brush it, put on a shower cap to protect the thermal cap from stickiness and contamination, put on a thermal cap and leave You warm it up, leave it on for 20 minutes, then wash and condition my hair as usual, resulting in a nice hot oil treatment. Another option is to wash your hair first, then apply a conditioner or conditioner mask, put on a shower cap, then a thermal mask, let it warm up and wear for 20 minutes, then rinse off the conditioner and style your hair as usual style. . Either way it works great. I usually prefer to use it with a conditioner/conditioner mask, but both work great. I prefer the low heat setting as it's warm enough to pour the conditioner/oil in. It feels warm and cozy. The warmth feels well balanced and comfortable. It really helps my hair, especially in our cold winters and dry heat. This process restores shine, moisture and bounce to my wavy, dry hair. I am very satisfied with this conditioner and can only recommend it.
