Difficult to use: paper and plastic

I was excited to try this new plastic wrap as my pack had just finished. DESIGN: At first glance, the box is the same size as other brands of cling film. A plastic cutter is inserted into the paper core of the roll, which must be taken out to be inserted into the box to cut the plastic film. Once the metal planer is placed on the box, the box no longer closes flat. The plastic sheet is perforated so you can tear the plastic sheet into preconfigured sizes, but as I describe in more detail below, the plastic sheet tears very easily and not in a straight line. USE: The plastic wrap is very thin so it's very difficult to hold it with one hand before they stick together before you can cut. The planer is slightly smaller than the plastic wrap, so you won't be able to straighten the plastic wrap. Once you can slide the plastic wrap under the slicer, the metal slicer will cut through the plastic wrap very easily. Once the cloth is cut to the right length, it is imperative that you grab it with both hands or it will snag. It tears very easily even when trying to trim the sheet. The sticking is very low. Bottom Line: The packaging should be less cumbersome and the box should close flat. On a positive note, the film is biodegradable so you don't have to worry about adding plastic to the environment. But the disadvantages outweigh the advantages of this plastic film. I'm sticking with my usual brand of plastic wrap for now.
