Everything was perfect out of the box. However, after about a month, the scrolling started to twitch: if you scroll down the page with the cog, the page sometimes jumps back. I read that this is due to dirt or dust in the optical scroll mechanism. There is no way to disassemble this model to clean it, so I tried blowing it out with compressed air several times over the course of several weeks. But no luck - it still bounces. Yes, it's cheap, but how hard is it to make a working mouse? Then for some reason the cursor tracking went bad. It's very annoying and I've now reverted to the old wired mouse that our IT admin gave me, but at least it works smoothly and perfectly.
