Anyone remember Tupperware? I think they are still here but my mum bought some coasters from them and some of them were given to me as gifts. While they're very durable and easy to clean, they don't do the job as well as we'd like. We get a lot of sweat on the outside of our glasses and it floods the coasters so we often have to put a paper towel in the coaster and it ends up looking really gross so I wanted to try some new sets. What I liked about these coasters is that they have a silicone surface to keep them in place and they have an absorbent felt pad that sits in the silicone part to keep condensation from building up on the coaster and dripping onto the furniture and us , when we raise the glass. I also liked that they were simple so we could use them anywhere in the house and outside. These coasters were exactly what I expected them to be. They absorb condensation very well, so we no longer waste paper towels and dirty paper towels are left in our coasters. They are easy to clean. I can throw them in the dishwasher or wash them by hand. In the dishwasher I place them vertically between the baskets and place a large, dishwasher-safe, reusable container on top so that they don't fly all over the dishwasher if they slip, as they are small and light. about buying another set and trying to use vinyl on felt to decorate it to your liking. Designs should be small and/or have lots of holes to allow the felt to absorb moisture. If I do, I'll be sure to update and share new photos.
