Review on Mixoo 2-In-1 High Precision Stylus (Disc &Amp by Wayne Drakh

Great for writing but check screen sensitivity

CAUTION: The method of attaching a precision pin with a clear washer to the 'barrel' is a hard rubber cylinder. One of the purposes of this configuration is to allow the user to hold the stylus at different angles, as is the case with traditional pens, while still allowing the writing pad to maintain perfect contact with the device's screen. The pen was everything advertised in terms of smoothness to inked fine lines and the precision of a ballpoint pen. Except. The problem for me and maybe others is that my screen is not very sensitive. I'm not sure what "capacitive" means, but if it means the screen's ability to detect touch, then my screen is completely impervious. So I had to put extra pressure on the screen to register the pen's touch. The additional pressure deformed the rubber cylinder between the disk and the pen body. Personally, I doubt this "flex" will ever occur on newer screens and more sensitive screens. But if you currently have an older tablet (like me) and find that you need to put in extra effort, you could end up with the same "mistake". Looking for an accurate pen (I need it for writing) at lower prices, I saw one that had a conical nib instead of a rubber connector. But it can somehow warp or warp under the stress of extra pressure due to the screen's insensitivity. I found the 2mm tip worked great if you're looking for a handwriting pen. Don't let the disc fool you. This stylus is able to write fluently. Another indicator that tells me my screen jitter is a bigger issue than the stylus design is that I also had trouble fitting the large tip to my screen. So there is a chance that the tip of the disc will never "bend" from too much pressure.

Pros
  • High Accuracy
Cons
  • Uncertain
