I don't know what happened but when I tried to use the first disc I bought Windows gave me a fatal error when I tried to do anything with the disc. I would put the disc in my computer and it would read fine. I've tried many different cables and it still doesn't work. I received a replacement and when I plugged it in the drive got very hot and I could smell burning computer parts. There is never a strong smell. My drive is fried now. Sent both back and asked my seller for a replacement and they will only do so if I return the entire laptop. I had a 1TB that I bought to replace so I just booted Win 10 on it and now I don't have a 512GB NVM. Teaches me not to buy at the lowest price.
