Enough power, very stiff cable

I bought this to install in the guest room so the electronics could be plugged into the bedside table even if the plug is behind the bed - and set supposed to be cutest but the dumbest cat in the world didn't come and chew the string. Unfortunately, we worked with this cord to try to untie it, but it's so twisted, bent, and stiff that there's no way to attach it to the wall where it can still reach the bedside table. Luckily, that also means the cutest but dumbest cat in the world can't chew on a string because she doesn't even fully stretch out behind the bed.
