I have bought two masters to replace those that are nearing the end of their life. I installed one in my pond and turned it on. The lights were lit, but the gentlemen only made a small disturbance on the water's surface. NO FOG! I tried the second Mister with the same result. I swirled it around in the water a bit and it started producing mist, but when I turned it off and on again I had the same problem. Tried different water depths. It started and worked properly with 1 1/2 inches of water, but not a little more or a little less. I've bought several humidifiers over the years and have never had this problem. After pouring the water to the recommended narrow height (2 inches or slightly more), I tried again. They started within minutes. After a few days, they gave up the fog completely. I am sending them back for a refund. Thank you Reven
