Review on Gillette Mach3 Men's Razors - 1 Razor with 2 Blade Refills by Kim Good

Very disappointed. I had to replace my original Mach 3 handle which I've been using since I started shaving. Over a decade later, the rubber began to deteriorate and separate from the grip. Apparently, Gillette decided to drop the price, and now the pens are all cheap, lightweight plastic. Holding the new grip is terribly uncomfortable compared to the old all-metal grip. Even the cartridge release button feels bad. The button on my old grip is still silky smooth, but the new one has a grainy feel, requires a lot more force to press, and sticks. I'm happy to pay more for a full metal handle Mach 3, too bad "the best you can get" is cheap stuff. I think Gillette cares more about getting every penny out of a once great product than it does about retaining its customers. This new grip doesn't need more than a drop or two in the shower before it breaks. I will look for a new brand. Don't waste your time.
