When used correctly, the camera is waterproof. You need to buy a mini SD card separately and insert it into the camera on the side panel. If you don't close this flap properly, water will immediately leak in and your camera will stop working. The photos had a nice retro vibe to them. Image sharpness is not sharp and is somewhat grainy, which I think is intentional. I liked the colors and graininess of the photos. This camera is best used outdoors in sunlight. Even though there is a flash, the night photos turned out very dark. Added two photos. The underwater photo shows random rocks and the picture was taken near crystal clear water, not in murky water. The camera itself is easy to use. However, the app is junk, buggy and slow. I couldn't upload my photos and all uploaded photos came out blurry.
