Handy tongs on my review.

Long and have teflon on the ends for working with hot objects.
Open enough to easily grasp a mason jar out of a vat of hot water or removing food from a pressure cooker. The ring at the top either by pushing it in or pulling it out will lock the tongs in closed position.

Pros

Love this!! Great quality! I would definitely buy again if it ever wears out👌🏼

Cons

The tips may not be sharp enough to easily pick up small items
