This boat is a lot of fun. The instructions are for crap. Here's something I had to figure out for myself: To remove the hatch (to access the engine compartment) after unlocking the latch, squeeze the hatch above mid-way down. There are latches on both sides there.For me, this boat is the easiest to turn gently at top speed, so you can simulate a real speed boat. But the boat also can make very quick/sharp turnabouts. Will need to buy one or two more barriers. And do be careful when accessing the compartment after operating, the battery will be hot, as will the motor.Have fun!
