I LOVE this item! We gave it to our 1.5 year old for Christmas. It comes with a square tray about 2.5cm deep to store your round pieces and a lid that fits onto the tray and can be easily added or removed. The colors are vibrant and the piece is large enough for little hands to easily work on the details to improve their fine motor skills. It also gives them the opportunity to learn how to match colors by putting the correct color pin in the correct hole. The pins are easily inserted into the holes, but not fully (on purpose) to allow little hands to pull them out on their own. The only downside is that there is no place to save images. You can sit on the lid on top of the tray, but the gap between the lid and the tray isn't deep enough for all the pictures to sit there without sliding off (that's the only reason for 4 stars vs 5).
