Sits nice and low so you can leave it in place while riding.
I connected the male end to the vehicle's OBD and the female end to the OBD to enet cable for BMW firmware. It sits nice and low so you can leave it in place to update the tune however you like. I don't know how durable it is, but it just sits under a piece of trim so there shouldn't be too much abuse.
