Review on Traumlife Separator Handheld Eggshell Creative by Bruce Garner

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Great one-handed kitchen tool!

I didn't buy a single-purpose kitchen utensil before, and then I lost the ability to use one hand and one hand. As someone who loves to bake and cook, separating the eggs with one hand was the hardest part; but not thanks to this kitchen tool. I can't hold the tool and load the egg with one hand. My method is to place the tool on the countertop with the divider hanging in my kitchen sink. After testing the tool with a dozen eggs, I found that the tool works best if the egg is first tapped lightly on the counter to create a weak spot for the shell to break open. Place the egg in the tool with the weak point toward the blades, then gently squeeze to allow the blades to penetrate, opening and separating the two shell halves. After figuring out how to tap the shell first to make room to break, I've had consistent success (maybe because I have to hold the tool horizontally on the counter, the blades are always at the same angle to the egg). and so that the egg always stays in the same position?)! This tool is perfect for me, I hope it works for you too.
