It was easy to get the color you want with this set, it has so many colors it's easy to mix and match until you get the color you want. I'm repairing a very old hole in a mid-century vinyl chair and the hole is quite wide. I've already applied two layers and after it dries it will set a bit so I think it might need to apply another layer or two. I've never used a repair kit like this before, so I don't know if this is normal, but I'm quite happy with the results. I think it's just a multi-step process and I didn't expect it.
