Review on 🔗 Shepherd Hardware 9347 8-Inch Medium-duty by Tom Tofte

We recently purchased a vintage valet table with mounting inserts on the legs but no casters. I wanted to add casters with 1-5/8 diameter wheels to match the antique china cabinet next door. I looked around a bit and the Shepherd rollers were the only ones I could find that suited my needs. They fit into existing built-in inserts and look great - perfectly matching the table's turn-of-the-century look. . They come with mounting inserts, but I did not use them in this case as the existing inserts were in good condition. They have hard rubber wheels that roll well on hardwood floors without scratching them. You go two per card, so you need two cards for a total of four. They have a beautiful antique brass finish. They were so good I bought a second set to replace the casters on a nearby china cabinet that has the original casters with metal wheels.
