This is a short roll of kraft paper. So if you buy it to cover your desk, you need to fold it in half. My work place where I use this paper is perfect for the smaller size and the roll is much easier to store than a full size roll. This kraft paper is nice and thick and has a slight sheen. It's like a lightly decorated version of the jumbo roll we use in the wood shop in the basement, making it suitable for gift wrapping or for decorative purposes (as much as kraft paper can be used that way). It tears easily and evenly when bent with a bone folder or along a ruler. It comes in a white box that claims 24 sheets of wrapping paper but is actually one roll. About $11, I think it's a bit pricey for a roll of this size, but I also think it has to do with the finished paper texture.
