This is an interesting, high-tech approach to brushing your teeth. This included a decent quality video camera surrounded by a ring of LED lights to adequately illuminate the field of view. The floss tips have a pair of "forked" prongs that fit into a socket on the handle. It is positioned so that the thread is directly opposite the video camera. The tip fits snugly and feels very secure. The socket holder has indentations that allow the user to squeeze the prongs of the floss tip enough to withdraw the floss tip after use. The device is thoughtfully designed and the handle is easy to grip and manoeuvre. The application is simple but satisfactorily shows the target area of the thread. The connection is quite simple, first turn on the device, then the user chooses to transmit the Wi-Fi signal from the device. Open the app and you'll be connected to a live video feed. The device is waterproof according to IP67. Which is appropriate as it is used in the mouth. And it makes cleaning very easy. The device can withstand brief immersion in water. To achieve this rating, there is a silicone cover on the underside of the grip that protects the charging port and power button. The silicon cover has a mark showing the position of the power button. So you can turn it on and off (long press) when the silicone cover is tight. The battery has a nominal capacity of 400 mAh, it takes 1.5 hours to fully charge a dead battery. The running time is 110 minutes. That's a decent ratio of charging time to operating time. Attached are photos showing actual images of the teeth cleaning device, with a ruler for size reference. The kit includes: video floss, instruction manual, alcohol swabs/cloths, 50 pcs. disposable threads to individual order. The problem is I couldn't find a separate listing for these individual disposable dental floss tips. So I can't rate the cost compared to regular floss or other dental care products. I think this is an important issue. What happens when 50 pieces are used up? The floss works and the video resolution is very good. As with any new tool, you need to learn how to use it. My biggest concern is the cost and availability of consumables: disposable floss heads. Based on these observations and concerns, this product is rated from 4 to 4.25 stars, with a moderately high and cautious recommendation. (Warning due to "single disposable threads”)
