The antenna really works, but you need to understand that its effectiveness directly depends on the signal level. It practically does not amplify a good signal, it only adds reception stability. Example: without an antenna, the modem gave out 23-25 Mb / s with a ping of 30ms, with an antenna it began to give out 25-28 with a ping of 20ms. But for a weak signal - this is really an option. Example: without an antenna, the modem gave out 7-8 Mb / s with a ping of 30ms, with an antenna it began to give out 18-20 with a ping of 20ms.
