flimsy and cheap in the trash
I bought it because it had a lid. I have a new puppy who loves to climb in trash cans. I thought the lid would hold it, but the material is so cheap and flimsy that she knocked it over and put it in her mouth the first night I installed it. Not like the good old days when they made things strong. Don't buy it unless you intend to use it to a minimum or keep it as decoration.
