Many years ago I sold all my old devices. Technics turntable, Allison speakers, JVC amplifier and tuner, Sony dual cassette deck and CD player. Not to mention a basket full of cables. At 55 I decided to go back to vinyl when I came across a couple of albums from the 1970's and 80's. After a long search I bought an Audio Technica Bluetooth/Wireless turntable. I was skeptical of how easy or difficult it would be to pair and set up. I wanted my turntable to be behind me in my home office, with speakers across the room on either side of my fish tank. Along with them I bought Edifier's R1700BT speakers (see another review). I can only say wow and wow! The bluetooth connect button on the player worked fine. Within 15 seconds my speakers were paired and everything was working. Oooooh easy. In terms of features, it has everything you need. I've tested it on all my 40 year old albums and they all work great. 33 and 45 years. Just press the button to start and stop playback to end in automatic mode or press a button for manual mode. So easy to set up. Only cons, and they're minor, and for high-end fans who claim to hear differences in different styluses and cartridges (I highly doubt it)... You can change the stylus, but not the cartridge on this turntable. And the buttons feel a bit cheap when pressed, but they go in and out well and you'll have a hard time breaking them. They just don't have inner and outer hardness. Seriously, if you're looking for players and especially if you want to pair them with Bluetooth speakers, look no further, this player is the bomb.
