I use to make my homemade salad dressing so I can make what I need and have it ready. I travel a lot so sometimes a need a day, a few days or a weeks worth of dressing and these are great for that, making a simple salad is no longer a project as the dressing was the longest part. No sense using overly processes and unhealthy supermarket brands when you can make a super healthy dressing with extra light tasting olive oil, vinegar (3-1) ratio, with a big dose of parsley, teaspoon of lemon, pinch of basil, oregano, pepper seeds and of coarse fresh garlic. If you need these for science class my guess is they would be OK but I use for cooking.
