Mokoru presents itself as an internet store that makes it easy for women to express themselves through clothing, but my interactions with the company have been anything but empowering. As a debater, I feel it is my responsibility to provide a fair assessment of my performance so that audiences can make educated judgments. To begin with, I found the website to be extremely chaotic and difficult to navigate. They have a lot of options, but it can be hard to locate what you want because the site isn't easy to navigate. In addition, I noticed that the product descriptions lacked depth, and that the accompanying pictures were not always true to form. It was also difficult to place an assured purchase due to the inconsistent sizing. I tried contacting customer support, but they were of no assistance when I needed it. Customer service obviously wasn't a top concern at Mokoru. When my package finally arrived, I discovered that the garments were of poor quality. They weren't up to the high standards Mokoru advertises on its website and were instead poorly manufactured. I was left with a bad taste in my mouth after trying to return the items and being greeted with a confusing and infuriating return process. While the goal of Mokoru is commendable, it is not always achieved. It's hard to suggest Mokoru to anyone looking for a truly empowering purchasing experience due to the website's clutter, lack of detail in product descriptions, inconsistent sizing, and low-quality clothes, as well as unhelpful customer service and a convoluted return process.
