The sealant itself is usable but all the bags included in the kit are broken. We sealed the peas in bags and most spilled out after a few minutes or a few days. When we examined the sealed airbag underwater, we found that bubbles were coming out of the bag. NOT under the seal, but by some flakes so small that they are not even visible on the packaging. In the ones that start leaking after a week or so, we can't even find air bubbles, so the holes are sub-microscopic. One side of the bag is smooth, the other is granular, and the granular side is leaking. 14 bags made and 11 of them leaked. We switched to a thick FoodSaver sign and they all remain sealed.
