Before buying this towel I read a lot of reviews from people with very thick hair. I have thin, jaw-length hair that the aging process hasn't helped! However, there are times when I need to dry my hair fairly quickly and don't want to rely on a hairdryer damaging it. After showering, simply drape a towel over your head, roll up the excess, pull it over your head, and secure the "tail" under the towel covering the back of your head. stop ok It's definitely enough for my hair, and when I blow-dry, put on make-up and get dressed, my hair is about 80% dry. Before first use I washed the towel on "cold" then let it air dry. The towel is white with a black border and is very attractive. I looked at others that had buttons and loops but they weren't as attractive as this one and the button/loop is not needed to secure the towel if you twist and then tuck it in at the end.
