The description and reviews of how sticky it is are accurate. I thought the people who said it was too sticky were crazy, but I agree. This is definitely a whole new level of high performance usage. Nothing compares to this crap from two big names that speaks bad but won't stick to cardboard. It can be a hassle to use with a tape dispenser, but it absolutely stands up to very heavy boxes and poor shipping handling. If you transport or ship heavy boxes, this tape is for you. If you're just trying to seal gifts or lightweight storage boxes, you probably won't like how difficult this tape is to cut.
