Review on Infrared Illuminator Microlight 2 8 12 100 by Joel Payne

Bright Illuminator is the best accessory

This is the most expensive infrared lamp I have ever bought. It's also the best I've bought. Much less than I expected. Looks very good. Over the past month I've mostly been experimenting with different setup settings. I used two lights together and split them apart. Very bright, also as a whole. It shines up to 250 feet, no. But really good lighting at 50 feet is when a unit is placed about 10 feet off the ground. Bright maybe. I set one at 15ft and the lighting looks better for this camera. Each device has two bright red LEDs that are visible from over 50 feet away. The only thing I didn't like was the dirty red power cord. I wish it was black like the rest of the device. I plan to buy more. Just not sure what size.

Pros
  • CONVENIENT INSTALLATION. A wide voltage range of 12...24 V AC/DC simplifies installation and protects the light from reverse polarity. The specially designed heavy-duty arm ensures a secure fixation of the emitters and a rotation in three axes for a precise and convenient installation.
