I have purchased several of these units to mount the Garmin Varia radar on various bikes. On one bike, I attached it to the saddlebag with a bolt and washers (similar to another reviewer's). The other bike has a rack and I bolted it vertically. For another bike I used a flat metal bar to make a custom mounting point and mounted it vertically on it. All three settings securely hold the Garmin Varia radar in a comfortable upright, rear-facing position to maximize its effectiveness. K-edge is an American company and the parts are made in the USA. solid product.
