Review on πŸ”§ Superior Performance Unleashed: Timken WB000019 Wheel Bearing by Hector Szymczak

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Same stock as OEM Honda

Timken makes these for Honda in some American vehicles. I found this at a parts counter dealer. Another customer had one and compared it to what Honda was selling. They are identical in every way. Timken makes amazing bearings for many applications and has done so for many, many years. I have full confidence in their products. However, I tend to use original parts when I can, or when it's something 'critical' like a wheel bearing. But I'm pretty sure it's the original stock, just in the black and orange Timken box. This is for FRONT WHEEL Honda Accord 8th generation (2008-2012). I'm sure it fits a lot of other cars, but it fits mine and that's all I care about. If you do it yourself then there is an ABS face that needs to be properly aligned. Please search YouTube and watch four or five videos to find out what it takes and what tools you need. This is no small task. The rear is more expensive, but very basic. The front end is actually pretty cheap, but you really need a shop press or an OTC Hub Grappler kit or something. Do not attempt to use an AutoZone rental hub or bearing puller as they are too wide for the largest bit typically included in these kits and you will damage the bearing if you use the wrong size as a clamping surface against the hub . bearing side. I recommend Timken for almost anything you could need. Always investigate if any of their builds could be an exception to this rule, as they very well could build a part that is a known bug. I dont know. All I know is that a Timken bearing in a kit is usually a sign of a good kit and that Timken bearings are made in the USA to a very high standard.
